Three Rivers School District encompasses outlying areas around Grants Pass. The citizens passed a bond measure of just over $7,000,000.00 in 1999. Accumulated interest funds and Senate Bill 1149 reimbursements have made funding of close to $9,000,000.00 available for improvement projects at fourteen schools within the District. $1,500,000.00 in new floor coverings, $650,000.00 for asphalt paving, $1,500,000.00 in roofing, major relighting and upgrades to mechanical systems were the main focus of improvements along with many smaller projects designed to improve the functioning of the District’s buildings.
